Rock Your Socks on Thursday for World Down Syndrome Day! Rock Your Socks is a campaign to raise awareness for people with Down Syndrome. Every year, on March 21, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. The day was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome. Together we will create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of ALL people. CSW will celebrate this day on March 21; everyone is encouraged to wear mismatched socks! Learn more about this program at https://www.dsadelaware.org/events/rock-your-socks/.

Our January 3 PTSO Meeting features Anna Moss (CSW Class of 2010). Anna is the founder of Mind the Test LLC, a tutoring company that empowers learners by teaching test prep and academics paired with lifelong research-based study skills. Her lecture topic will be “All About the New Digital SAT". This March, the SAT is switching to a new format: it's not only switching to digital, but it's also becoming adaptive, and the format and rules are changing, too. Anna has already tutored several international students for the new Digital SAT since it was rolled out a year earlier in non-US testing locations, so she has a unique insight into how to prepare for the test. Juniors at CSW will take the Digital SAT with Essay for our School Day SAT on March 5, 2024. College Board will host the first Digital SAT on March 9. The PTSO meeting will be held in the library at 6:30 p.m.
