Gotham Takes Over CSW!
The Health & Phys Ed/Drivers Ed team stole the show this Halloween, transforming into the heroes and villains of Gotham City! Batman, Robin, the Joker, the Riddler, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn all made an appearance—bringing big energy, creativity, and plenty of laughs to the halls of CSW.

Join us for our Open House on Monday, November 11th from 4:00–6:30 PM! Explore our campus, meet our dedicated teachers and students, and discover what makes The Charter School of Wilmington such a special place to learn and grow.

Staff vs. Students Volleyball Showdown!
Get ready for some friendly competition! The annual Staff vs. Students Volleyball Game is this Friday, November 7th at 2:45 PM in the gym. Come cheer on your team and see if the students can take down the CSW staff! Entry is $2, and snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. All proceeds support prizes for the Spring Step Challenge!

Homecoming Week Is Here!
It’s Homecoming Week at The Charter School of Wilmington, and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating our students, athletes, and school community! We’ve brought in lights for the entire week to give our teams the full night-game experience! It’s going to be an incredible atmosphere for players and fans alike.
Here’s what’s happening each night:
• Tuesday, Oct. 21 – Boys Soccer at 6:30 PM vs. Wilmington Friends
• Wednesday, Oct. 22 – Girls Field Hockey at 6:30 PM vs. Appoquinimink
• Thursday, Oct. 23 – Girls Volleyball at 5:30 PM vs. Red Lion
• Friday, Oct. 24 – Football at 6:00 PM vs. Glasgow
Come out, show your school spirit, and encourage your students to support their classmates under the lights!

Alumni Guest Bartending Fundraiser: Friday, 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Dead Presidents
Enjoy an early start to Homecoming weekend with fellow parents, alumni, and staff. You can dine in during the event, 20% of all proceeds will benefit the CSW Alumni Association. All funds raised directly support student programs and future alumni initiatives.

Homecoming Snack Shack Donations Needed!
Each year, the junior class helps organize the concession stand for the Homecoming Dance, and we’re once again asking for your support! The dance will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and proceeds from the concession stand will benefit The B+ Foundation.

CSW Earns Health Honor
Congratulations to The Charter School of Wilmington for receiving the 2025 Advancing Healthy Lifestyles Healthy Schools Pioneer Award! This honor recognizes our Active School Program, which engages students in daily movement, fitness challenges, and schoolwide activities that promote lifelong health and wellness. Shoutout to our Physical Activity Committee (PAC) for their work toward this mission.

Alumni Guest Bartending Event
Get ready to raise a glass for a great cause! Join us on Friday, October 24, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Dead Presidents for our CSW Alumni Association Guest Bartending Fundraiser, happening right before the Homecoming football game. Our amazing faculty and alumni will be behind the bar, mixing drinks and fun to benefit the CSW community, with each team aiming to raise $500 in tips and donations. Whether you’re a staff member, parent, alum, or friend of CSW, come out to support the event, enjoy the festivities, and help us reach our fundraising goal!

Under the Lights Showdown
Cheer on our Force Football team as they take on Newark Charter under the lights on Friday, October 3, at 7:00 PM! We want the stands packed with Blue & White, and to make it easy, we’re running a student section bus—departing CSW at 5:30 PM and returning after the game. Regeneron Science Talent Search
Applications are now open for the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. Students are invited to submit their original research for the chance to earn national recognition, scholarships, and the opportunity to join a community of the country’s brightest young scientists.
