Elaine Zuo and Nischay Patel were named Secretary of Education Scholars earlier this week, an honor awarded to outstanding seniors across Delaware.
Each year, Delaware’s Secretary of Education recognizes select members of the graduating class for their exceptional work ethic, dedication, and achievements both inside and outside the classroom. These students demonstrate the qualities needed to make a meaningful impact in their own lives and in the lives of others.
Scholars are selected by their school principals based on academic excellence, leadership, and community service, with the number of honorees from each school determined by enrollment.
