CSW student Neil Sorenson has achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, a milestone that reflects years of hard work, leadership, and commitment to service. Throughout his journey, Neil has demonstrated resilience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead others—qualities that will benefit him well beyond his time in Scouts. His accomplishment places him among a distinguished group of individuals recognized for their dedication and civic responsibility from a young age. Neil credits much of his success to the guidance of his Scout leaders, mentors, and supportive family.
For his Eagle project, Neil led a group of volunteers to build a bocce ball court at the Howard J. Weston Senior Center, creating a space for seniors to stay active, enjoy low-impact physical activity, and foster community connections. His dedication to serving others highlights both his leadership and his commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community. The project required careful planning, teamwork, and creativity, all of which Neil managed with skill and determination. This achievement not only benefits the seniors at the center but also stands as a testament to Neil’s character and perseverance.
