Awards Ceremony

Senior Srijay Chenna received distinguished honors for winning the 2024 BioGENEius award this year for Delaware. He also won an all-expense-paid trip to participate in the International BioGENEius Challenge in San Diego, CA.

Congratulations to our finalists in the BioGENEius Challenge on April 25. They include Niranjana Sendil Kumar (9), Cindy Tran (10), Alice Yan (11), Srijay Chenna (12), Helen Xiang (11), Subiksha Srinivasan Vidya (10), Aarush Sudamalla (10), Sophia DiGenova (10), and Rachel Hilton (11).

The BioGENEius Challenge is a distinguished competition for high school students that recognizes exceptional research in biotechnology. It encourages excellence and enables students to continue their research in biotechnology and design an original and independent research project. 

Organized by The Biotechnology Institute in Washington, D.C., the Delaware BioGENEius Challenge, managed by the Delaware Biotechnology Institute, invites local students in grades 9-12 to participate.
