The 2025-2026 school year Admissions Policy will be posted in October.

All current 8th grade students whose primary residence is in Delaware may apply for 9th grade. The admissions process begins in 8th grade.  Our maximum enrollment is 970 students and our freshmen class size is determined by the difference between 970 and the number of returning students for grades 10 through 12.

Materials should be dropped off at the School’s Main Office or mailed to us via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Due to readability issues, we do not accept faxes or PDF documents by email. As a component of specific-interest in CSW, applicants will be evaluated through a standardized assessment. The results of this assessment may also be used for academic phase placement of enrolled students along with other phase-assessment processes. An email with reminders and instructions will be sent a few days before the assessment.

Historically,  we have had more applicants than seats available.  When this happens, we use a lottery to offer seats while prioritizing applicants eligible for the defined preferences outlined in our Admissions Policy (currently under review).
