Chris Eddy has been with The Charter School of Wilmington since May of 2009. Mr. Eddy had previously worked as a Director with the Police Athletic League of Delaware for 9 years, working closely with the youth of our community in conjunction with the New Castle County Police. Before taking over at PAL, Mr. Eddy played 9 years of professional baseball, reaching the Major Leagues with the Oakland A’s in 1995. During his career, Mr. Eddy played for six Major League Affiliates, including the Kansas City Royals, Oakland A’s, Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, and the Philadelphia Phillies. He was also a member of the Inaugural 1993 Wilmington Blue Rocks where his name now appears at Frawley Stadium with all former Blue Rocks that have reached the Major Leagues.

Mr. Eddy is a graduate of Duncanville High School (1988) and holds a B.S. in Communications from Texas Christian University. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Management.

Mr. Eddy resides in Wilmington with his wife (Valerie) and four daughters.

Craig Aukamp has been the Head Athletic Trainer for The Charter School of Wilmington since 1999. Born and raised in Reading, PA, Craig graduated from Wilson High School in 1992. During his senior year of high school, he became involved in his profession through his work as a student Athletic Trainer. Craig entered the Athletic Training program at Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 1996 with a BS in Exercise and Sports Science.

As a certified Athletic Trainer, Craig spent one school year working at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA, before moving to Wilmington, DE, to work at Christiana Care Physical Therapy Plus. During his time at PT Plus, Craig has had the privilege to work alongside athletic trainers from national level soccer teams, as well as work with the Delaware Wizards organization from 1998-1999. Craig is married with one son and resides in Pike Creek.
