RUN RUN RUN ...conditioning over the summer is a must!

There will be a Charter Summer team participating in the New Castle County Summer League. Check out the game schedule and come support the team!

The team will be attending East Stroudsburg Summer Field Hockey Camp from July 26 - 29.  Please register online with the camp and send Coach Mess an email confirming your registration.

Field hockey controls its OWN boosters program. All money collected goes directly to the field hockey team to cover costs incured from the banquet, senior appreciation day, field maintence, turf rentals, etc.Unlike years past, this is our only method of funding.

The team mom or dad (need volunteer) will be heading the Field Hockey Boosters. Please make checks out to CSW and be sure to put your daughter's name on the memo line. If you are contributing Silver or Gold also include your daughter's t-shirt size in the memo. Checks can be directly given to the team mom (TBD) or Coach Messinger.

Basic $30   (This is the minimum level expected for each girl. If this is a hardship, please contact Coach Messinger).

Silver $60 – includes a free t-shirt!

Gold $100 – includes a free t-shirt and a water bottle!

During the regular season, practices will be held from 3-5 pm.

Varsity games typically start at 3:45 and are followed by JV around 5 pm. Freshmen games do not start until the end of September and are usually scheduled around 3:45.

The 2009 Preseson will begin on August 17th. All students planning on coming out MUST HAVE THEIR DIAA PHYSICAL FORMS COMPLETED BY AUGUST 1st!

Players should come to practice with sneakers (needed for running), shin guards, cleats (for field work), stick, mouth guard, and a water thermos.

All new and returning players are expected to attend preseason!

Practice times for preseson are posted on the Field Hockey CALENDAR . During double session days (8:30 - 3), players will have an hour and a half break (11:30 - 1:00) for lunch and are encouraged to pack a lunch; however, there are two sandwich places in the Cannery Shopping Center across from Charter.
