You should spend some time practicing your presentation. Practicing improves quality of the presentation and reduces any fears about public speaking. After spending time to prepare your experiment and paper, you want to demonstrate that you can verbally communicate your results. You have 10 minutes (15 minutes for partners) to present your research. On the next page is an outline that you and others can use to practice and evaluate your presentation. It is suggested that you take this opportunity to practice since your presentation will be graded.
You must prepare a PowerPoint presentation of your work. An organized presentation will assist everyone in following your analysis. To review how to prepare PowerPoint slides that assist in your presentation, see instructions on

The following is a checklist of items that you will need on the day of your presentation.
- You must be in dress code or business attire (See Oral Presentation rubric.)
- You can invite family and friends to your presentation.
- You should know where your presentation is scheduled and arrive at least 10 minutes before your presentation.
- You must check that your AV needs are working and in place for your presentation.

- Your data and/or lab notebooks
- Your printout results from www.turnitin.com. Note: You must show that you corrected any citation errors from www.turnitin.com before you submit your final paper to your advisor.
