The Charter School of Wilmington

On the first Saturday of May, incoming Freshmen will be given the option of taking the Mathematics Challenge Test. 

The Challenge Test topics correlate with the topics of the Integrated Mathematics Program, Courses I and 2, at CSW.

Incoming students should realize that the integration of topics in our curriculum is not limited to the traditional general topic areas of Algebra and Geometry. Our program includes Statistics, Probability, Logical Reasoning, Discrete Math, and Trigonometry as well as Algebra and Geometry.

Integrated Math Program Analysis

Students who demonstrate exemplary performance on the initial test will be invited to sit for an additional exam that will challenge topics from the Integrated Math 3 course. Exemplary performance on this exam would qualify the student for placement into AP Calculus.

All transfer students will be required to take the Mathematics Challenge Test.
