Athletic Director
Chris Eddy has been with The Charter School of Wilmington since May of 2009. Mr. Eddy had previously work as a Director with the Police Athletic League of Delaware for the past 9 yrs. working closely with the youth of our community in conjunction with the New Castle County Police. Before taking over at PAL, Mr. Eddy played 9 yrs. of Professional Baseball reaching the Major Leagues with the Oakland A's in 1995. During his career, Mr. Eddy played for 6 Major League Affiliates including the Kansas City Royals, Oakland A's, Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, and the Philadelphia Phillies. He was also a member of the Inaugural 1993 Wilmington Blue Rocks where his name now appears at Frawley Stadium with all former Blue Rocks that have reached the Major Leagues.
Mr. Eddy is a graduate of Duncanville High School (1988) and holds a B.S. in Communications from Texas Christian University. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Management.
Mr. Eddy resides in Wilmington with his wife (Valerie) and four daughters.
